Thank you for allowing me to photograph the important moments of your pregnancy and your baby's early days. It's a privilege to be involved in this journey, preserving the memories of your pregnancy and the arrival of your new baby.

Choosing the right newborn photographer can be difficult. However, you can feel confident knowing I am trained in newborn safety and, as a mother of three, I have the experience to handle your baby with care and gentleness. Newborn photography requires artistic talent, technical skill, patience, and a nurturing touch to ensure a relaxing session for both you and your baby. You can rely on me for a smooth experience and beautiful photos.

In my studio, I ensure a cozy and comfortable environment for your baby. We keep the temperature at a warm 26 degrees and provide a selection of soft, adorable outfits for your little one. Our schedule allows plenty of time for breastfeeding, making sure your baby is content and sleeps peacefully during the session.

When is the Perfect Time for a Maternity Photoshoot?

The optimal window for capturing graceful pregnancy photos lies between 30-36 weeks. During this time, your belly will boast a beautiful roundness, perfect for showcasing those maternal curves, while still allowing you to move comfortably for various poses.

How is Maternity Photography Carried Out?

Your maternity photoshoot can take place outdoors or in my studio nestled in Hamburg. We'll capture intimate shots of you alone, as well as with your partner and the entire family—so feel free to include any other little ones you may have!

If you're feeling a touch camera-shy, fear not. I'll gently guide you through poses, employ flattering lighting and angles, and even infuse some lively music to help you relax and relish the experience. You'll have access to a range of stunning dresses and outfits, all provided at no extra charge. Prepare to bask in the glow—I assure you, you'll look and feel utterly enchanting!

Are Maternity Gowns Supplied?

Absolutely! Our studio boasts a collection of high-quality gowns and pregnancy attire for your convenience. Explore our selection of maternity gowns here.

When Should I Book my Maternity Photoshoot?

It's advisable to secure your session in advance—preferably a couple of weeks before your desired date. Consider reaching out around your 28th week of pregnancy. This ensures we have ample time to discuss your preferences and ensure you're fully prepared for the big day. Booking early increases the likelihood of securing your preferred date.

How Long Does it Take to Receive the Final Photographs?

After the photoshoot, I'll perform basic touch-ups on the images. Within two weeks, the photos will be uploaded to an online gallery with a watermark. You'll then have a two-week window to review and select your favorites from the comfort of your home. If you exceed the included number of photos in your package, additional images can be purchased or you can opt to upgrade your package. Once you've made your selections and completed payment, a comprehensive retouching process will commence. After two weeks, you'll be able to download your high-resolution photos from another online gallery. Printed copies will be dispatched three weeks after receiving the digital photographs.

Can We Obtain Unedited Photographs?

I don't offer the sale or distribution of unedited photographs or RAW files. Due to limited data storage space, any unpurchased photographs will be deleted.

The best time for a newborn photo shoot

Your newborn is tiny and delicate, making the second week of life perfect for photos. During this time, babies are usually sleepy, ideal for capturing serene moments. Don't worry about minor imperfections; I handle retouching during editing.

Newborn photo shoot - step by step

We allow your baby time to settle and sleep, gently posing them for natural, womb-like positions. Starting with baby portraits, we then include parents, siblings, and the whole family.

When to book a newborn photo shoot

Due to limited availability, contact me before your due date to reserve your session. If your baby has arrived, contact me as soon as possible to secure a spot.

How soon will we receive our photos?

Your images will be retouched within two weeks and available in an online gallery. After selection, high-resolution photos are ready for download within another two weeks.

Can we purchase unedited photos?

Unedited photos are not available for purchase. Any unpurchased images will be deleted due to limited storage space.
